About this blog

I set up this blog for my dad who is one of the smartest people I know – probably all daughters think that about their dads – but he collects and creates all these great ideas and I have been thinking for a long time that more people should get to know these.

So this is my plan: I set up this blog for him and preinstalled three sections of interests: politics, sustainability and dolphins. Now I am hoping that he will write a little blog every other day and we can all enjoy reading it during breakfast, the ride on the train or while waiting for our lunch date.

This is my dadGB-Petersen's Cay 063

He studied the behavior of dolphins for about 30 years now. But how it happens in so many scientific careers the passion for science itself doesn’t pay the bills, so he did a lot of other scientific and other interesting work along the way. Always trying to educate future generations and trying to make the world a little better.

PS: The name dolphin dialogues was chosen because it was the name of the former radio show my dad hosted in Jupiter, Florida which sadly enough is no longer hosted by the local radio station. However this having been an educational program I thought it would be quiet fitting for this blog.

  1. Most people traded a little or a lot of their true freedom for non-sustainable or often flatly fake security. The only free people are the true artists and scientists. Stefan is one of those pure minds who stays always open to fresh thinking. His love for the dolphins originated from his water personality from which his vivid curiosity flows in all directions. Thank you Stefan for sharing your oceanic knowledge with others. In light and harmony, Serge
